Uroš Župerl is a researcher at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maribor, Slovenia. In 1999 he began working at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering as a researcher in the field of machining. His pedagogic and research work is oriented towards cutting theory, optimisation techniques in cutting, neural networks, experimental modeling, application of artificial intelligence to the machining processes and the use of computer graphics in general. As an assistant, he works at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the Laboratory for researches in cutting and in the Control technology laboratory, where he just finished his Ph.D study. He is a member of the research group Intelligent Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Research activities: "Analysis, prediction and optimization of cutting quantities by neural networks."; Analysis of fixtures; 3,4,5,6,7,8.
